Why pennies?

Pennies is family-run and always has been. Founded by Penny Scotton (a nursery nurse with a personal vision of childcare) we have always seen our work as an inclusive offer to join the Pennies’ family and enjoy the sense of belonging and support all loving families seek to offer.

Penny is no longer with us, but her family continue to follow her example. We remain a group of nurseries, small enough to provide personal care and deal with every child and parent as individuals, but large enough to offer a range of facilities and a staff team with varied talents.
