We like to give credit for childcare excellence where it's due - even when we're talking about another childcare provider. This year, Samantha Metson-Jeffrey who works for Goudhurst Village Pre-School was recognised as the early years apprentice of the year in the sixth annual Lifetime Learner Achievement Awards. Her comment about the wonder of seeing children "experiencing the world and becoming individuals" makes sense to us. But we'd also like to draw your attention to one fact about Samantha that might surprise you. This winning apprentice is 37 years old! Sometimes the best newcomers are those who come to their true calling later in life. We are open to applications from everyone with an interest in working in childcare. We are always updating this website and our Facebook page with details of vacancies. If Samantha's story sounds like one you would like to live we would love to hear from you.
