One day one of my friends suggested I start a page whereby I share any experiences or ticket offers, or hidden gems so that they could tag their mummy friends and I guess that’s how the page and concept of Mummy McCurrach has evolved. My husband was supportive of the idea and helped get the balls in motion because it’s something I hadn’t attempted before. I mean, it’s by no mean singing and dancing, but it does the job - which is to help other parents, carers, child minders, grandparents etc. find new places or new ideas to do with their children.
There are lots of mummy bloggers out there, some of whom I follow, mostly getting free products to try, test and advertise. My main focus is finding affordable things, free or a special treats that others can use to make memories with their children too. I take so many photos of the kids, and have printed memory books per month (a little extra I know) but I love looking back at the photos and memories we have made over the years and it gives me nothing but a warm heart. I always say to my husband Callum, apart from the kids and the dog, in the event of a fire I would always run back into save my photos. Some of which are irreplaceable.
