Pennies is looking for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to provide a high standard of physical, emotional and social and intellectual care for children within their Newnham Court, Hockers Lane and Mark Cross settings. You will be required to work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn and to be a proactive member of a staff team who offers support to all colleagues and provides a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment in which babies and young children are supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential. Help to ensure all Ofsted requirements are met. Welcoming parents and ensuring effective parent communication. Kids Club After School Club Playworker -2.30pm-6.30pm Term Time Only
Pennies at Mark Cross and Newnham Court have a vacancy for enthusiastic playworkers working with children aged 4 to 11 years. A Level 2/3 childcare qualification is required for this role as is a clean driving licence and an enhanced DBS.
Candidates must be:
Have a love of working with children
Be able to meet children’s individual needs
Have bundles of initiative
Be able to communicate at all levels
Be ready to have lots and lots of fun
The Children’s Play worker role include supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times, engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation, organising play areas, materials and equipment, setting up activities for children to optionally take part in, encouraging independence, meet and greet parents and provide them with feedback on their child’s time at the club.
