We run day nurseries in Kent and East Sussex as well as a term-time pre-school at our largest setting near Maidstone and Kids Clubs (PKC) offering breakfast, after-school and holiday childcare. Childcare starts from 3 months of age with our PKC activities available up to the age of 11.
Why Pennies
what makes us so special?
Pennies is family-run and always has been. Founded by Penny Scotton (a nursery nurse with a personal vision of childcare) we have always seen our work as an inclusive offer to join the Pennies’ family and enjoy the sense of belonging and support.
Penny is no longer with us, but her family continue to follow her example. We remain a group of nurseries, small enough to provide personal care and deal with every child and parent as individuals, but large enough to offer a range of facilities and a staff team with varied talents.
