 What is PKC?
Based in a purpose built area at Pennies, Newnham Court, PKC is a fun place with excitement, activities and the chance to chill out with your friends for children from 4 to 11 years old. We offer three clubs, our Breakfast and After School Clubs take place at each end of the school day, with transport to and from school. All meals are provided and our specially equipped area includes toys and games. During school holidays our Holiday Club serves up a stunning selection of trips out, adventures, themed activities and a regular feast of fun and games. The logo you see and many other things that go on as part of PKC were created with the help of the children, who give the life and energy to our clubs. We trust our children to provide us with information on the best activities available and great design ideas. The designs on our PKC bus came directly from our own children. PKC activities have included trips to theme parks and zoos, visits to the Superbike practice at Brands Hatch and making a news report for a local radio station. Breakfast Club runs at our Newnham Court site from 7.00am–8.45am during the school term. We provide a healthy breakfast, a range of fun and enjoyable activities, and drop children off at local schools in our fleet of spacious and comfortable people carriers. After School Club runs at our Newnham Court site from 3.15pm to 6.30pm (last pick up at 6.15pm) during the school term. We pick children up from a range of local schools, bringing them to our well-equipped upstairs area at Newnham Court. We offer a wide variety of games and activities.
Holiday Club 2009 Our Newnham Court site runs a Holiday Club during every school holiday, for children from 4 to 11 years old. Every day offers unique and memorable events with outings proving particularly popular. Please check our events calendar for forthcoming Holiday Club activities and take a look at our Holiday Club gallery for previous club events. The Holiday Club is open to all children ages 4-11 years whether they attend the nursery or not. PKC Opening Times:Times: Breakfast Club: 7-00am – 8-45am After School Club: 3-00pm – 6-30pm (last pick up 6.15pm) Holiday Club:7-30am – 6-30pm (last pickup 6.15pm) Testimonials from some of our PKC Children I think that Pennies is extremely good. I love Pennies, it is brilliant. In the holiday Club you go out to places and do all sorts of things like Mote Park. You have dinner here. The older ones go into another room and the smaller ones stay in the usual room. There are electronic games, Wii’s, computers and a TV. There is a garden with a climbing frame and football. Libby – Age 7 I like Pennies because they always have fun things to play with. When it is school holidays, you can come to Pennies and go out to the parks, the cinema, the museum and the farm, and it is great. Ella – Age 9 I like Pennies because it is fun and my old after school club wasn’t as good. It is because you can play on the computer and do pictures and play games with your friends. Teddi – 8 ½ years I think it is a good place because it is safe and there are lots of construction toys. I like it when we go outside on the bikes. Ben – Age 9 I think Pennies is fantastic because it has a Wii, computer, bingo, buzz, TV and you can see your friends. You go on trips out with the holiday club, dinner is fantastic, you can play football in the garden, play pool, do some drawing and play games. Matty – Age 8 I did rugby, cricket, cycling, went on the computer, and a sports day. My team won.
