Sheila - PKC Supervisor

With almost twenty years in childcare work and a range of qualifications, Sheila is our supervisor, taking responsibility for the day to day running of PKC activities and generally taking the lead in planning the exciting and unique events that make every Holiday Club very special.



Claire - Senior Playworker

Claire has worked in our nursery at Newnham Court since October 2004. She moved to the PKC area in October 2007. As Senior Playworker Claire leads games, organises activities and takes responsibility for planning. She works alongside Sheila, assisting her in the day to day running of PKC.

 

Lorraine - Playworker

Formerly employed as a supervisor in an Out Of School and Holiday Club Lorraine was recruited by Pennies to set up our Breakfast Club in 2005. In addition to childcare, first aid and food hygiene qualifications Lorraine holds qualifications in Child Protection and Behaviour Management.

 



Becky - Playworker

Formerly employed in our baby unit, Becky has over ten years of experience in early years education combined with play-schemes aimed at older children. In addition to standard nursery and first aid qualifications Becky has an advanced certificate in playwork.

 

 

Rob - Playworker

Rob spent a year working as a Teaching Assistant in a special needs school and has now joined us as a trainee Nursery Nurse/Playworker, looking to gain qualifications in childcare.

 

 

Debbie - Playworker

Joined us in 2008 to help out with dropping off and collecting the children from school. She has one son at a local primary school, and enjoys helping out in after school to cover holidays and days off

 

 

Gary - Out of School Driver

Joined us as a driver in 2007, and now also undertakes various handyman tasks around the Nursery. His daughter used to work at Hockers Lane Nursery, so he is familiar with the Pennies family

 

 

Julie

Julie Smith- Playworker

Joined Breakfast Club, as a playworker, in 2008.  She also works at a local secondary school, and has grown up children of her own.
