Security

Nothing is more important to us than the safety and welfare of children. We have invested in CCTV, intercom systems and secure key fobbing allowing for every room to screen anyone seeking access. All refurbishment and design work at Pennies makes a feature of security. We discuss security and protection as part of admitting every child to our care and regularly update ourselves on new developments in site security.

Picking up children at the end of every day depends on us having a photograph of the adult picking up a child and using a password system, unique to each child. We work with families to ensure these personal arrangements work effectively and always discuss security issues when admitting a child to Pennies.

It is our experience that children – however young – have an understanding and appreciation of a secure environment. Children who feel secure are happy and able to express themselves, thrive and enjoy every moment.
