Pennies Babies

Our purpose built baby units allow us to give personal attention to our smallest children. We work with parents to understand the individual routine of each baby, learning all we need to provide calm and contented days. Pennies babies can join us from the age of three months, eating, sleeping and playing at their own pace. The baby units at Newnham Court and Hockers Lane are equipped with separate quiet and dimly-lit sleep rooms. We also have a separate baby garden area with soft turf and equipment designed for sensory experience. All new babies are assigned a Key Worker. Key Workers provide parents with a daily care sheet, detailing the baby's day. Key Workers also plan activities and keep records of progress in areas like talking. As babies learn to explore their surrounding and strive to learn new skills the key carer will be observing and planning exciting new activities to encourage all areas of development.  Babies will be encouraged to develop new skills through a range of play activities from messy activities to group song/story time.  Pennies also have physical sections in the garden with push along toys to quieter time inside exploring the large range for floor toys.

All prices are inclusive of all food and nappies. Hockers Lane offers six baby unit places, Newnham Court has 12 places for babies up to 12 months and 9 places in a unit for older babies.
