Pennies Parents Forum

Pennies Parents Forum exists to give ALL our parents a voice. A small group of parents meet the nursery Manager every two months to discuss developments at Pennies, concerns and issues raised by parents and any other important business. The forum also works to help and support Pennies and gets involved in social events. Many Pennies parents work full-time but forum meetings tend to take place at convenient times in places suitable for families – like a soft-play centre. With events like picnics and social nights for mothers the emphasis is on being informal and relaxing. This is also the case when the Parents forum attend Pennies own social events.

We have a good relationship with Pennies staff and we hope that this will continue with new parents, to support Pennies to strive to be the very best we can.
At Hockers Lane , Pennies parents have formed a Pennies Parents Association. Similar to Newnham Court parents we meet every two months around 6:15 p.m. for an informal discussion on a variety of issues that also include planning for social events.
Meeting at 6:15 can be a challenge for a lot of busy, working parents so we have also
planned to meet up every other opposite month in the local pub from 8:00 p.m.
