Fees

Our fees are updated annually with effect from January 1st.

Our current fees are:

Pennies fee structure is fully inclusive of all meals (breakfast, tea, lunch and all snacks), premium brand nappies, formula milk and wipes. Inclusive of these fees are outings, Christmas parties, Birthday parties and various celebrations and entertainment for the children that take place throughout the year. Pennies are open 51 weeks of the year closing on Public Holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year; therefore nursery charges are calculated over 50 weeks of the year taking these holiday periods into account.   Parents sending two children to the Nursery will receive a discount of 10% on the lower of the fees.

Discounts apply to the following:

15% discount, already discounted in the fees, if your child attends the Nursery full time 10% sibling discount off the second child (cheapest child) and each further child in a family 10% discount for parents/carers working for the Police 5% off each child’s fees that attend full time Breakfast Club and Afterschool Club (consecutive days) 5% discount for parents/carers working on-site at Newnham Court (Discounts not to be used in conjunction with each other)

DEPOSIT

Deposit of 50% of one month’s fees payable to be included with the registration documents.  Only upon receipt of this will the place be confirmed (subject to availability).  The amount will be refunded by direct payment into your bank account the month after your child has left, as long as all fees and any extra charges have been settled.

NEW STARTERS

For new starters the deposit will only be refunded if a minimum of three months notice is given in writing that the place is no longer required. If starting within 3 months the place must be cancelled in writing within 14 days after the place has been confirmed for the deposit to be refunded.

Important information for over 3’s entitled to Early Years Funding

Due to a change in the way the KCC are implementing the early years funding grant we are now pleased to advise you that from the January term 2008 (subject to eligibility) you can attend Pennies for one day per week and claim up to four fifths of your eligible payment. Attend more than this and you can claim the full grant allowance*.

What this means:**

* Represents 12 ½ hours per week entitlement subject to variation in the grant by the KCC.

** The calculations below are based on you using your full entitlement with Pennies. You are of course allowed to apply this to different providers if you attend other facilities to a maximum of 12 ½ hours per week.
