We provide the highest standards of working environment in day nursery care. In addition to our support for staff we are constantly working to improve the décor at our sites. Many fixtures and fittings have been designed specially for Pennies, taking into account the opinions of our staff. Specialist areas – like the baby rooms at both our sites – offer state of the art facilities for children and staff. Both of our sites include comfortable and well equipped staff facilities, and offices offering the chance for privacy when you need to talk to management or review your work.

Our Newnham Court site was purpose built to provide the best possible childcare facility, and our Hockers Lane site has been extensively redesigned to bring it up to the highest standards. We listen to the opinions of staff and design each working area around what we hear. Desks used by staff, the arrangement of rooms with clear lines of sight to allow all children to remain in view, and all the little details in day to day working arrangements have been arrived at through regular discussions with staff. We have also taken care to provide staff rest areas that deliver a genuine break and relaxation for all staff.
