Pennies opens at 7.30 am. and closes at 6.30 pm Monday to Friday.
We are open 51 weeks of the year, closing only for Bank Holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year.

Half day places (where available) are from 7.30 am to 1.00 pm or 1.00 pm to 6.30 pm

We would like to say that we do understand the pressures on you as busy parents and, wherever possible, we will try to adjust our services to meet your particular requirements.

Activities at Pennies are designed to be both stimulating and fun. The most effective way for young children to learn is through play and natural curiosity. We provide a range of planned activities, both indoors and outdoors, to suit children of varying abilities and different levels of development.

There is plenty of space - where children can run, climb, slide, drive on the outdoor roadways, sail in the sand, and learn about nature. Most importantly, the children are provided with lots of fresh air and exercise..

We value our relationship with parents and recognise we each have a different but complementary role to play in the development of each child. Our team have a knowledge of, and experience in, general child development. We understand that parents know their child best and work closely with all parents to understand the routine and interests of each child.

As parents and staff trust and respect each other, we can create the warm, supportive environment sensitive to each child's situation.

We encourage participation by parents in the life of the Nursery through open days and social events. Our team are always available to respond to your questions or simply share with you the details of your child's day.
